Appearance

The Appearance tab controls the small images that represent your site outside the page itself — its icons and its social preview image. Open your site's Settings, then the Appearance tab.

Site Icons

Icons for mobile home screens, browser tabs, and bookmarks.

App Icon

Used for mobile home screens, PWA install, and bookmarks. Upload a 512×512px square PNG for the sharpest result. Accepted formats: PNG, JPG, WebP, ICO, or SVG.

Favicon

The small icon shown in browser tabs and bookmarks. Upload a 32×32 or 64×64px image (PNG, ICO, or SVG, up to 2MB).

If you don't upload a favicon, New Salon automatically generates one from your App Icon — so setting just the App Icon is enough to cover both. Upload a favicon separately only when you want a different, simpler mark for tiny tab sizes.

Social Preview Image

The image shown when your site is shared on social media or appears in search results — its Open Graph (OG) image. This is the image; the social title and description text lives on the SEO tab.

• Pick an image here to set your site's default social preview.
• You can also set a per-page image from the Page panel, or capture one directly from a page with the Screenshot button — see Stop Editing.
• The recommended size is 1200×630px. If you don't set one, New Salon generates a preview from your page automatically.

Saving

Click Save Changes at the bottom of the tab to apply your icon and preview-image updates.
