In 2012, Salon.io launched as the first SPA, free-canvas, no-code website builder designed specifically for artists and photographers. It was revolutionary—a true blank canvas in a world of rigid templates.

For years, thousands of creatives built their digital homes on Salon. Then development paused. The co-founders moved on. But the community remained loyal, and Mr. Sal, the CEO, kept Salon alive.

Now, in 2025, everything changes. With AI-assisted development, Salon is being rebuilt from scratch—incorporating features that waited a decade to exist. One person. One vision. Unlimited possibilities.
